Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ALO ELD (“ALO ELD”, “we”, “us”) collects through aloeld.com, by email and by phone, how we use it, and the choices you have. ALO ELD provides ELD monitoring, logbook assistance and back-office support to trucking companies in the United States.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill out the form on our website, we collect your name, company, phone number, email address and number of drivers, and, if you provide them, your USDOT number and message. We also keep the emails, texts and call notes we exchange with you.
- Information sent with the form. With each form submission we store the page it was sent from and the country it came from, based on your IP address.
- Information from public sources. We may use business contact details that trucking companies publish in public government records, such as the FMCSA’s SAFER and SMS systems, to tell them about our services.
- Information about your visit. Our website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers.
- Customer information. If your company becomes a customer, we process the information needed to provide the services you order, such as driver names, records of duty status and vehicle data.
How we use information
- to respond to your request and prepare an offer;
- to provide, support and bill for our services;
- to send you messages about your account and our services, including occasional marketing emails that you can opt out of at any time;
- to keep our website and systems secure and to prevent spam and abuse;
- to comply with the law.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request and our services. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or ask us not to call you. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run our business, such as Google (email and documents) and Cloudflare (website hosting), which may use it only to provide their services to us;
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public;
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information as long as we need it to answer and follow up on your request. We keep customer information while you use our services and afterwards as long as legal, tax and accounting rules require. Then we delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Emails. Follow the opt-out instructions in any marketing email, or write to hello@aloeld.com, and we will stop.
- Access, correction and deletion. Ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to hello@aloeld.com. We will respond promptly.
- Do Not Track. Our website does not track visitors across other websites, so it does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
